This workshop convenes global experts from the USA, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Malaysia to address lifelong spinal cord injury (SCI) management. Covering recovery patterns, neurogenic bladder care, healthy aging, and community reintegration, the session delivers evidence-based insights to optimize clinical outcomes and enhance patients' quality of life.

◆ What participants will learn

Understand clinical reasoning to the assessment and management of spinal disorders beyond radiological findings.
Perform the International Standards for Neurological Classification of Spinal Cord Injury (ISNCSCI/ASIA) examination using current standards.
Interpret ISNCSCI examination findings to support accurate neurological classification and rehabilitation planning.
Discuss emerging trends in spinal cord injury epidemiology and the implications of an ageing SCI population for rehabilitation practice.
