Wasuwat KitisomprayoonkulProf Thailand

Wasuwat Kitisomprayoonkul is an Associated Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine and the former Head of Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and the former Head of Excellence Center for Gait and Motion, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He is a President of The Royal Collage of Physiatrists of Thailand, President of Thai Rehabilitation Medicine Association, President of Thai Society of Neurorehabilitation and President of ASEAN Rehabilitation Medicine Association.

Assoc. Prof. Wasuwat has expertise in neurorehabilitation, advanced technology in rehabilitation and geriatric rehabilitation. He is the author of the Textbook of Stroke Rehabilitation, editor of the Textbook of Rehabilitation Medicine; Chulalongkorn University and the Textbook of Advanced Technology in Neurorehabilitation; Thai Society of Neurorehabilitation. He is also a committee member and author of several Thai clinical practice guidelines. He developed an upper and lower extremity rehabilitation robots and a Brain-Computer Interface device with engineers from Chulalongkorn University and National Electronics and Computer Technology Center.
