Simon Fuk-Tan Tang, MD, is currently the vice superintendent of Lotung Poh-AI Hospital. He had been the program director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. For 10 years, he had been the chairman of the department, and a full-time professor at Chang Gung University. He is currently the honorary president of the Taiwan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A graduate of the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Tang completed his postdoctoral fellowship in restorative neurology and human neurobiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Tang has written more than 170 published papers. His research interests are orthoses, gait analysis, motor control, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Tang is had been served as vice president of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine; president of the Asia-Oceanian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, president of the Taiwan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. president of the International Society for Restorative Neurology; president of the Taiwan Prosthetic and Orthotic Society; president of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics, Chinese Taipei;
